When I published my first book, I discovered that someone in the Far East had copied and released my book in toto. They say that imitation is the highest form of flattery, but it does nothing for my poor budget.
The copyright symbol means that this is my work. You cannot claim or sell it, even in other colors or slightly altered. You cannot copy, distribute or sell the instructions or any part of them. You have no rights to these works except as I give them to you. This applies not only to me but to all artists on the internet. I cannot steal anyone else's work either.
Some artists work as a hobby. Perhaps they have other means of income. I spend hours sometimes days working on a piece, and then I spend more hours and days, illustrating how to make it, and writing how to make it, and designing pages of instructions how to make it. I enjoy this effort immensely or I would not do it, but I need to keep buying more beads, and keeping my business going, and paying for this site and my computer and all the other things that make my beading possible.
I know that many like to work in groups or to teach others less practiced at beadwork. It makes me very happy that you want to share my work. I only request that you ask each participant to purchase (for less than a Caffe Mocha Grande at Starbucks) their own copy of the instructions. For large classes and groups, please contact me for discounts on specific instructions.
Thank you for respecting my work.
